Private Lessons will be with Trevor Tolman. He has been playing the saxophone for 19 years, and performs on alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones. During his high school years, he was a TMEA 3-year all-state musician on baritone saxophone in 4A, 5A, and Jazz competitions. He went for his bachelor’s degree in Music Education at the University of North Texas. He played in the UNT Wind Ensemble, 4 o’clock Lab Band, and Jose Aponte’s Latin Jazz Ensemble. Currently, he is in his 7th year of teaching band at Monnig Middle School in Fort Worth ISD. He has experience teaching saxophone and all five main woodwinds (flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, and saxophone), as well as introductory lessons at request on any of the brass instruments (French horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, and tuba), piano, bass guitar, and drum set.
